A singer from Bedford raised £2,000 for a local hospice and a group that is supporting the NHS when she performed a Facebook live charity kitchen gig.
Donna Samuels performed the gig in her kitchen on Thursday, April 9, originally wanted to raise £100 to split between St Johns Hospice Moggerhanger and NHS Kindness and Support group.

But she smashed her target and both charities will get £1,000 each.
She said: "Wow, Facebook live Kitchen Gig was an incredible success. Thanks to the generosity and support of many donors the event has raised £2,000.
"This is being split between NHS Kindness and Support in Bedford that are offering food and essentials to Bedford hospital workers and The Emergency Appeal for Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice.
"The event is still on my Facebook page, the event was viewed by over 3,000 people and across the globe with viewers also in USA, Australia, The Netherlands and Singapore.

Donna might do another Facebook live gig event for fun, and a voluntary donation to another local cause if there is enough support, for more details visit: www.facebook.com/donnasamuelssinger.
