A second person has tested positive for the coronavirus at a school in Bedford.

Goldington Academy, in Haylands Way, sent out a letter today (Monday, September 28) warning parents of the new case.

The letter, signed by principal Francis Galbraith, said: "We have been advised by Public Health England (PHE) there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the school.

"The small number of children who have been in direct prolonged contact with the confirmed case will have received an individual letter and will be staying at home for 14 days."
