Bedford Hospital makes YouTube appeal to help reduce spread of virus

With numbers of Covid infections on the rise, Bedford Hospital has taken to YouTube to urge residents to play their part in slowing down the virus WATCH HERE

In a week where more than 90 people were treated in Bedford Hospital with Covid-19, staff have released a video, urging residents to play their part and follow national restrictions to slow the spread.

In it, Dave Kirby the deputy medical director, said: "It's important that everyone plays their part and follows the national lockdown restrictions.

"We are seeing a massive increase in Covid admissions across the Bedfordshire hospitals.

"We need everyone to do everything they can to reduce the spread of this virus."
