Bedford Heights is offering walk-in vaccinations this week - without the need to book.

From today (Monday) to Sunday (June 27), you can get a jab between 9am and 5pm.

Last weekend, 144 people were vaccinated at King’s House and the Harpur Suite in Bedford - with a further 44 at Bedford Heights.

Dr Ed Sivills, medical director for the NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “This is a fantastic start to the over-18 programme.

"We need to vaccinate every adult now. Two jabs offer protection against all the current variants. The sooner that people have their first jab, the better. Vaccination protects all of us: our communities, families and friends.”
