Coca-Cola urgently recall drinks over allergy fears, Bedford shoppers told

The company is withdrawing Thums Up Cola because it contains celery which is not mentioned on the label

In a statement by Coca-Cola European Partners and the Food Standards Agency, the drink is being pulled off the shelves as it "is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery".

The recall relates to products with a September 18, 2019 manufacture date and affects the 300ml pack size.

If you have bought Thums Up Cola and have an allergy to celery, do not drink it. Call 0800 227711 to arrange a refund.

A spokesman for Coca-Cola European Partners said: "We would like to apologise for this labelling error and want to reassure customers that future stock will feature the correct allergen information."
