VIDEO: Our tour of town’s new school

Bedford Free School will open in September in Cauldwell Street, as part of the government’s programme of allowing new schools to open across the country.

Principal designate Mark Lehain was one of the driving forces behind the establishment of the school, and since being appointed to the role has been busy setting up the building, recruiting staff, meeting parents, and last month even welcomed government minister Lord Hill.

Mark gave T&C content editor Ben Raza and videographer Natalee Hazelwood a tour of the premises, showing how the plans are shaping up, including staff and pupil recruitment and setting up internet coverage across the building.
