There were also was a traditional camp fire - albeit from one of the leader’s living room over Zoom - and Scouts also got the chance to make bottle rockets and launch them.
Twins Dexter and Harvey Crane said, “We were so excited about camp that we slept in our den on Thursday because we wanted to sleep in it for three nights. It was a great weekend with so many fun things to do.”
Parent Susie Nikulasdottir said, “An absolutely brilliant, action-packed weekend which has given us a real boost. Heartfelt thanks to all the leaders and organisers for all your ideas, organisation, co-ordination, hard work and unfailing commitment and enthusiasm. I reckon it will be some time before we get Izzy back out of the tent again.”
