Kingsmoor Preschool in Flitwick is proposing a change of age range - and now's the chance to have your opinion heard.

A preliminary consultation has been launched to gauge demand for a proposed lowering of the age range between now and May 25.The change, put forward by a significant number of parents, would mean the pre-school lower its age range from three years old to two years old, in line with other preschools, for the start of the September term.

This will make the school's age range two to nine years, rather than the current three to nine years, but will not change school’s determined admissions arrangements, nor guarantee a place at Kingsmoor Lower School.

“The proposed changes would mean that children are able to start education earlier and reduce the disruption of moving to another setting after only a year.”
