Beeja Meditation - which conducted the study - used a Freedom of Information request to find out which higher education establishments are putting the most money into supporting the wellbeing of their students and staff.
And while the University of Central Lancashire spend £6,200,000 in 2018/19, Cranfield shelled out £278,663.
Other institutions to spend big were Oxford University and Warwick University.
However, the study's authors were quick to point out that a lower spending doesn’t necessarily mean a university is providing less support.

It's been widely reported that more and more students are feeling stressed or overwhelmed during their time at university, whether it’s the workload getting or more serious mental health issues.
A spokesperson for Cranfield University said: “Cranfield University treats student wellbeing extremely seriously and we have a range of services and initiatives in place to support our students including the Student Advice Centre and access to the counselling service the Big White Wall.”
