Training programme underway to fill hundreds of jobs at Center Parcs

A massive staff training programme has started for a new short break holiday village in Bedfordshire.

Some 47 people, the majority of whom live less than 15 miles away from Woburn Forest, have already been recruited and a campaign has begun to fill 1,453 vacancies before the new Center Parcs opens in Spring 2014.

The venue has been holding training sessions at The Forest Centre at Marston Moretaine, just 3 miles from the Woburn Forest site.

Rob Sanders from Hertfordshire joined Center Parcs Woburn Forest as training manager from Easy Jet where he built up a wealth of experience. With his Woburn Forest team and a core team of trainers from existing villages, he will be managing the training programme.

In September Center Parcs released advanced booking availability for breaks at Woburn Forest from July 18, 2014 onwards.The are 625 forest lodges and a 75 bedroom hotel on site.
