Premier finds ways to be best for businesses

PREMIER Newspapers is the organising force behind the Rising Stars Bedfordshire and Luton Business Excellence Awards, writes business editor, David Tooley.

With its range of paid-for and free newspapers and websites the company has the county covered from Sharnbrook in the north to Studham in the south.

Premier Newspapers has been linking the county’s businesses with consumers for many years – and is looking forward to telling the world about the fantastic things happening across the business community.

The company’s newspapers carry profiles of the awards category winners.

Sponsors also get a chance to increase their profile.

Now Premier has launched a new service to help put customers in touch with good restaurants, shops or services.

It’s called Find It and it can be found under the community header on the homepage of our websites www.lutontoday.co.uk and www.dunstabletoday.co.uk.

But it does more than give a list of what’s on offer. It is also a review website with recommending locations, places, products and services.

It’s powered by Qype – Europe’s largest user generated local review website.

Find It also gives consumers the chance to post comments if they’ve has a bad experience.

All local businesses can claim a free advertising listing on Find it, with the option of taking a premium listing for greater visibility.

Paul Gibson, managing director of Premier Newspapers, the publishers of the Citizen, said: “We are very excited about the launch of Find it which gives local businesses a highly effective new advertising medium as well as giving consumers a fantastic new guide for finding the best local service.”
