A new warehouse development at Wixams will include five units, now that planning permission has been secured.
The Grade A units will range in size from 7,535 sq ft to 22,500 sq ft at the 80,000sq ft warehouse development called Fuse.
Fuse has been designed to be an environmentally-sustainable development which focuses on staff wellbeing - including secure cycle facilities, changing areas and showers in each unit.
Buccleuch Property and Wrenbridge secured the planning permission for Fuse.
Neil Finnie, director at Buccleuch Property, said: “Fuse, Wixams is the latest of our speculative industrial schemes with Wrenbridge and we look forward to delivering another high-quality
development which can provide both economic value and employment opportunities to the local area.”
Jeff Wilson, director at Wrenbridge, added: “The industrial sector continues to thrive, with demand for quality new space outstripping supply. Fuse, Wixams will deliver new units in a size range not being catered for in the region. Our focus is to provide a new sustainable development in an environment that will help companies attract and retain staff.”
Adroit Real Estate Advisors and Colliers are the leasing agents for the new development.
