Millbrook Venues shortlisted for top award

The UK’s only events facility, set in a 700 acre site and with 50 miles of test tracks, has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Venue under 4000sqm’ award at the 2013 Exhibition News Awards.

The venue offers opportunities for a variety of events including exhibitions, launches, conferences, parties and ride and drive days.

It has competition from five rivals at this year’s ceremony to be hosted in London on April 10.

Kevin Leaver, head of events at Millbrook Venues, said: “It has been reported that this year’s awards saw a record number of entries, with more than 150 companies and individuals vying for recognition.

“We are very proud to have been selected as one of the top six venues in the country under 4000sqm and hope to prevail as the winner in this category.

Millbrook’s entry showcases the versatility of the venues and demonstrates its performance on a number of high profile industry events held throughout 2012;.

They include DVD2012, the most important stakeholder event in the defence diary for those involved in land and equipment support, the Low Carbon Vehicle show (LCV), the UK’s leading event for those involved in low carbon and fuel cell technologies and Commercial Motor Live, an event dedicated to commercial vehicle operators.
