New post office opens in Bedford pharmacy

A new post office has opened today (October 20) at Meiklejohn Pharmacy, in Harrowden Road.

The new Bedford branch was originally due to open in March, however, this was delayed due to the pandemic.

As well the usual services, customers can also bank at the branch, including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries.

The new services are available Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.

Tony Bayley, Post Office change manager, said: “We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new post office alongside Shortstown, London Road and Elstow will ensure that people in this area of Bedford have easy access to our services.”
