Bedford's new Poundland store opens this weekend

Poundland is opening 10 new stores in the run-up to Christmas - and Bedford's one is opening this weekend.

The chain already has two stores in Bedford - one in The Howard Centre and another in Harpur Street.

The new store at Bedford Interchange Retail Park will be will be 8,915 sq ft with a staff of 26, and opens this Saturday (November 21).

The store is one of the first to be confirmed as Poundland prepares to open 45 new stores over the next 12 months in an investment of more than £15million.

The new Bedford store will stock PEP&CO clothing and homeware as well as chilled and frozen food.
