Sexy opera with Mack the Knife

ENTER the world of Mack the Knife with Sharnbrook Mill Theatre Trust’s latest production of The Threepenny Opera.

This musical is guaranteed to serve you up something new, exciting and rarely seen before, taking you on a journey through London’s underworld of beggars, thieves and cutthroats.

The dramatic Threepenny Opera is kicking off tomorrow at Sharnbrook Mill Theatre, and is a high-spirited romp through the capital’s underworld where Mack the Knife dodges the hangman’s noose and tries to evade the women in his life.

It’s the show that brought you the hit song Mack the Knife, made famous by Frank Sinatra and Robbie Williams.

It’s hilariously funny but with a delicious, dangerous bite – you’ll be splitting your sides one moment and on the edge of your seat the next.

Director Kaye Stevens says; “Only the Mill Theatre would have the audacity, atmosphere and courage to tackle something as dangerous as Threepenny Opera and combine it with sex, goth and an attitude.

“There are plenty of laughs, but there are moments of sheer suspense too. It doesn’t let up for a second - this one grabs you by the throat. A raucous, bawdy, knockabout show with a serious edge. What more can you ask for?”

The play is showing from tomorrow evening till May 21. Tickets are £12 or £10 concessions. Call 01234 269519 to book your tickets.
