One of the organisers, Kevin Thompson, said: “We aim for quality and diversity of brilliant emerging musical artists who write their own songs.

“They believe it gives the local audience of Potton and the surrounding towns and villages the chance to experience amazing artists performing live nearby, instead of needing to go to Cambridge, Bedford, Stevenage or Milton Keynes, in order to witness the cream of rising musical talent.”

Theresa’s Tears are a songwriting duo from Hertfordshire, singing their own original material and some select covers in their own acoustic style.

Connor Wells is from Stevenage and plays a mixture of acoustic rock, pop and folk.

Also from Stevenage is Cara Beard, a 17-year-old singer and songwriter who has recently released a debut EP called Gravity.

The other performer is Michael King who is a Hertfordshire based performer. He will perform an array of original music from a his debut EP Mirrored Smile. Michael will also play a range of popular acoustic covers from many genres

Performers and Pints is to run from 8.30pm for a 9pm Start. The evening is due to finish at 11.30pm.
