Organisers say there is something for everyone, including a sheep show, dog and duck herding, children’s small animal petting pens, birds of prey and falconry display teams, ferret racing, a children’s entertainer and circus workshop.

Other attractions include the SoSkAn American Civil War re-enactment group, the Totally Terriers display team, Swords of Chivalry battle re-enactments and medieval village and Fighting Knights.

A spokesman for organisers Oakleigh Fairs said: “It’s a fantastic setting and we really enjoy working with the team there.

“Our events are designed with the whole family in mind. We want to deliver a really good weekend that everyone can enjoy - young and old - and we are bringing some fantastic new entertainment to the show this year.”

As well as full-size and scale steam engines and vintage cars, stick furniture making and pole lathing, there will also be other rural demonstration skills to enjoy.
