While for others this might result in a crisis that prompts the purchase of a sports car, Ed embraces middle age with open arms.

Join him, as he truly comes of age and gives out his clarion cry: “I am in my forties - hear me roar - for a night to remember at Bedford Corn Exchange on Thursday, February 27 at 8pm.

Following on from the successes of his last shows Crowd Pleaser and Different Class, brilliant Irish comedy star Ed Byrne returns to the road this spring for the second leg of his UK tour of his all new show Roaring Forties.

However happily Ed slides into middle age, he isn’t ready for the slippers and woolly jumper quite yet.

Family life as a father of two and everyday frustrations all come in for a pasting with hilarious results as Ed casts his curmudgeonly comic eye over his life.

Ed has been busy since his last tour with TV appearances and he continues to be a regular panellist on BBC 2’s Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You as well as various other new shows including Don’t Sit in The Front Row and Alexander Armstrong’s Big Ask.

Tickets are £22.50 from www.bedfordcornexchange.co.uk or call 01234 718112.
