Project 229, Grace Community Church and other local groups are bringing the event to Addison Howard Park on Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

This year there is a great twist as the organisers have teamed up with local music promotor Michael Pipe from the EntShed at the Gordon Arms.

The line-up features bands and musicians who all have local connections and include Fred’s House, Danni Nicholls with Max Milligan, Ben Smith and Minnie Birch, plus a host of other local groups and community projects who are showcasing their talents at the event.

These include Bedford Big Band, Holywell Samba band, Urban Funki Munki’s and Mike’s Line Dancing.

There will be lots of free activities for kids and grown-ups to enjoy, including bouncy inflatable fun zone, facepainting, arts and craft activities, children’s entertainers, make your own cajon drum with Bedfordshire music, penalty shoot outs with Kempston Colts and local food and drink vendors.
