Bring your jazz hands down to pavilion cafe in Bedford
The concert on Thursday June 25 aims to focus on breaking down the barriers between the performance and the audience with a 15 to 30-minute discussion with the musicians and their musical influences.
It is the first of this type of concert, which will run on the last Thursday of every month and will feature many solo artists alongside groups.

Hide AdThe act opening the ‘azz at the Park series is Bruno Heinen’s (piano) and Kristian Borring’s (guitar) Postcard to Bill Evans.
This empathic partnership was formed out of Heinen’s project to explore the music of Bill Evans in a quintet format.
However, inspired by the recordings of Bill Evans and the late guitarist Jim Hall, and intrigued by working as a duo, they continued to play the challenging repertoire of Evans as a two.
Event organiser Conscia Jazz is only selling tickets in advance on their website for these events, for £10 with a 10 per cent booking fee.
It starts at 8pm with the doors open from 7.40pm, and shall be finished by around 10pm.
There are only 30 tickets available for each event.
