Sam helps Bedford soar over Stansted
The game started directly with long balls causing both teams some issues but Bedford soon settled in.
However a Stansted goal came against the run of play on the 20 minute mark. Bedford failed to clear a move from the right and this allowed Luke Adams a strike on goal which flew into the top corner.

Hide AdBedford got themselves back into the game soon after with a goal from Sam Smith which came from a physically challenged set piece leaving things all square at half-time.
The extensive pre-season didn’t seem to affect Bedford who went on to secure the win in the second half with another Smith goal after he robbed the Stansted goalkeeper on the edge of his box.
Then a fantastic mazy run late on from on-loan Marcus Campbell sealed victory.
Bedford FC also played Southern League Division One Central side Barton Rovers at home on Thursday evening where they went down 4-0.
