Dance hopes late Newport victory will reignite season
LUTON’S late show at Newport County could help to reignite the Hatters’ season, writes Mark Wood.
That’s the hope of hard-working winger James Dance whose driving run helped to create Danny Crow’s injury-time winner as Town triumphed 1-0 at a windswept and rain-soaked Spytty Park on Saturday.
He said: “We said in the changing room after they are the type of wins that win you the league.

Hide Ad“It’s all right beating teams four and five nil at home when you are playing well, but when you have to grind it out like that, those are the kind of three points you need. Hopefully (it can spark us).”
