Teenage boy rescued from Bedford High Street roof

A teenage boy was rescued from the roof of a building in Bedford High Street by police last night (Tuesday).

Police were called to the scene at 9.10pm to a report of concern for the welfare of a boy.

A Bedfordshire Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and the boy was safeguarded, escorted down and guidance was given.”
