A man has been charged with several firearms offences following his arrest in Bedford on Monday (15 January).

Jay Jassal, 27, of Carrick Road, Bedford, has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm and one count of possessing ammunition after being arrested in Castle Road.

He has been remanded in custody following a hearing at Luton Magistrates’ Court, pending a further court appearance.
