Mark Morriss returns to the region this weekend for a headline show at Esquires.
Morriss recently performed at the venue as the guitarist for Matt Berry and the Maypoles.
However, he is familiar to millions as the frontman of The Bluetones.
During a 15 year period, the band achieved 14 top ten singles and three top ten albums and toured across the world.
Their 1996 debut, Expecting To Fly featured the singles Slight Return and Cut Some Rug.
The Bluetones released their sixth album, A New Athens, in 2010 and the following year decided to disband.
However, Morriss reformed the band for a series of sold out shows around the UK this year but has now turned his attention back to his solo career.
Mark Morriss headlines Esquires in Bedford on Saturday, June 25.
Doors open at 8pm. Tickets cost £7 and are available in advance from the venue and www.seetickets.com.
