Castle Comedy starts 2016 with a special show on Thursday January 14 from a special comic – Tom Binns.

One man, three hilarious characters and the chance to watch a comedy “genius” ishould help banish the January blues.

Opening the show is the Tom Binns character Ian D Montford. The Sunderland psychic is a celebrity séance specialist who mainly channels dead famous people.

The real Tom Binns emerges in the show’s middle section. Tom is an award-winning and critical acclaimed character comedian working the International Comedy Festivals and the UK Stand Up Comedy Circuit.

He’s been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, Adelaide Fringe Comedy Award and Perth Fringe Comedy Award.
He’s a ‘Fosters Comedy God’ and starred in one of Chortle.co.uk Top 50 Gigs of the Decade.

Headlining the show is Tom’s most famous character, Ivan Brackenbury. Ivan brings his ‘Hospital Radio Roadshow’ to Bedford. Ivan is a daft, inept yet adorable radio DJ who captures the fun and excitement you’d expect from being in hospital, with games, giveaways, patient requests and his special blend of music and chat.

MC for the evening is Castle Comedy regular, Paul Revill.

The show takes place at the Ent Shed at the Gordon Arms. Doors open 7.30pm, with the show starting at 8.15pm.

Tickets are £8 (£6 NUS) or £16 which includes a pre show meal and glass of wine at the Gordon Arms.
