A Clophill pub is organising a community gala day at the end of the month.
The Flying Horse is holding the event on Saturday, May 31 to raise money for their chosen charity, the Clophill Heritage Trust.
Assistant manager Sherida Soper said this week: “The day has two main objectives – one is to get the whole village community, and as many from the county as we can, together for a great fun packed day with their families, and we also want to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the trust.
“There is loads going on during the gala day – with live music from a local band, a barbecue, a Pimm’s tent, a bouncy castle for the kids as well as pony rides and games and competitions for the children.
“I really hope it will be a great family day for all, and we raise lots of money for a charity so close to the community.”
The trust is managing the restoration of the Grade II listed St Mary’s Old Church.
