Excitement levels are rising ahead of the return of the Flitwick carnival this weekend – back by popular demand after an absence of 14 years.
The parade will depart from the Rufus Centre at 11.15am on Saturday and everyone is invited to line the streets to take in the numerous floats, walkers, samba band, Heart Radio making up the big parade, led by two carnival princesses.
The parade will make its way through town to the Millenium Park in Dunstable Road, Flitwick. It’s free to get in and there will be loads to do.
Headling the Arena Stage twice during the afternoon is equestrian razzle dazzle from Galloping Acrobatics. The show provides an insight into the amazing world of equestrian performance art.
Enchanting and exciting, you will be captivated by their beautiful horses and amazing gymnnasts.
Flitwick Carnival also feature a bar bus, funfair rides, paintballing, a food court, tug of war and a birds of prey display.
When the arena acts come to a close at 4pm, visitors can enjoy a drink or two whilst watching the evening entertainment provided by local band The Numb3rs, and DJ Lewis Duggleby.
