Bedford’s controversial silver faces are featuring in a new art installation in the windows of a nearby shop.
The faces, called Reflections of Bedford, provide a backdrop for photos being displayed in Sports Traider, on Silver Street.
The Hip Hop vs Monuments Exhibition was commissioned by Bedford Creative Arts (BCA). It features a street dance performed by Si Rawlinson and snapped by Mickael Marso Riviere, who also choreographed the piece.
A BCA spokeswoman said: “It is a piece of art we hope will get people to look again at the statues and their surroundings through dance and photography. There are a lot of young people who are interested in street dance as an art form.”
The photos are displayed until Friday, May 23.
