The £100,000 artwork Reflections of Bedford, pictured, has prompted praise from fans and brickbats from foes since it was unveiled last week.

And it's not the only new piece of public art to raise eyebrows in the town centre in recent weeks, with the tribute to the town's Italian heritage also coming in for critical comment as well as commendation.
