16 to 18-year-olds invited to join up
Teenagers are wanted to sign up to Bedfordshire Police's voluntary cadet scheme and become the next generation of law enforcement officers.

The force is looking for 16 to 18-year-olds to join its six-month training programme, where cadets learn about various aspects of law and police procedure before going on patrol with officers.

Cadets also represent the force on ceremonial occasions, and will get the chance to take part in activity weekends and work towards an NVQ level two in public services.
