Host of attractions made it a fun day out for all the family

The sun came out and so did the crowds to join in the fun at Riseley village fete on Saturday.

Attractions included a ferret race, mega mods scooter convention, model helicopter flying display, and a display by The Oakley Hunt.

There were also sack races, games and a range of colourful stalls with entertainment provided by the Street Moves Dance School and scouts joining in the fun with a fire engine wash.

Other highlights included a scarecrow making competition.

Are you feeling the pinch in the ongoing credit crunch?
Too right, food and energy bills are hurting the most.
As long as I don't lose my job I'm just about OK
Stocks and shares falling doesn't really affect me.
