New season kicks off with entertainment.

Bedford bloomed with colour as the spruced-up flower market returned to town last Friday with some potty entertainment.

Following the success of last year's spring market, organisers sowed the seeds to make this year's more vibrant than ever, with a range of homecare and garden stalls.

The market will run in the town centre every Friday throughout the summer.

Have you had an annual pay rise in the last 12 months?
Yes, a whopper, thanks for asking.
A small one, but it has hardly covered the increased costs of living.
Not this year, I'm afraid.
What's an annual pay rise? I can't remember the last time I had one.
