Flower market blooms for summer
New season kicks off with entertainment.
Bedford bloomed with colour as the spruced-up flower market returned to town last Friday with some potty entertainment.
Following the success of last year's spring market, organisers sowed the seeds to make this year's more vibrant than ever, with a range of homecare and garden stalls.
Flowerpot men from the Bread and Butter Theatre Company provided a springtime show alongside the market, which was opened by Bedford's deputy mayor Ian Clifton.
The market will run in the town centre every Friday throughout the summer.
