Firefighters all in a lather!

Crews from Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service join charity car wash



Men in uniform were working up a lather on Saturday in aid of charity.
Crews from Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service were
washing cars at Bedford, Harrold and Kempston fire stations in exchange for donations to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Station commander Andy Peckham, The Fire Fighters Charity secretary for Bedfordshire, said: "This was a fantastic opportunity to meet people from our communities and promote important community fire service initiatives.

"Whether washing cars or firefighting, we are always keen to get our safety messages across to the public."

After what we've been through in Bedfordshire with the riot and fire five years ago, I'd rather the facilities were built somewhere else.
Fair enough, we have got to house failed asylum seekers somewhere.
It's a recipe for disaster housing foreign criminals with immigrants who have outstayed their visas and others going through the fast-track immigration process.
