Waders hit five on Thursday to reach Charity Cup final

And it's Abbey on target for winning Blues

Biggleswade Town booked their place in the final of the North Beds Charity Cup with a somewhat flattering 5-2 scoreline at Forde Park tonight (Thursday) in this thrilling semi-final tie.

Jamie Hall gave the Waders a 1-0 half time lead with a 38th minute opener but Mark Wright levelled for hosts Langford ten minutes into the second half.

Two minutes later Bobby Dance put the Southern League side 2-1 up before Ross Scotney equalised for the Reds again with 20 minutes left.

But goals from Kevin Kilroy on 72 minutes, Brett Donnelly on 76 and Hall again in stoppage time put the Town through.

And at the Armadillo Stadium in Hitchin Road, Arlesey Town returned to winning ways with a 1-0 Zamaretto Southern League win against high flying visitors Bury Town, Zema Abbey being the Blues marksman.
