Holmes delighted as little Hayes hang on for a draw

Ex-Hatter Peter Holmes admitted it was a little like the Alamo at times on Monday as Hayes & Yeading hung on to claim a draw at Kenilworth Road.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who made over 100 appearances for Luton between 2000-07, was delighted with United's point but felt they could have come away from Kenilworth Road with even more.
