The Entertainers come to Cople

Lashings World XI to play Cople Argus on Thursday plus all your cricket and football fixtures for the week ahead

Cople Argus will host the Lashings World XI at their Grange Lane Playing Field tomorrow (Thursday).

The Lashing side is made up of top stars from the World's Test Match playing nations and will feature the likes of former West Indian skipper Richie Richardson and South African opener Herschelle Gibbs who is best remembered for his six sixes in an over in the 2007 World Cup qualifier against The Netherlands.

Also expected to be in the Lashings side are West Indians Gordon Greenidge and Courtney Walsh, Mohammed Akram, Azkar Mohammed and Saqlain Mustaq (Pakistan), England's Graeme Hick and Devon Malcolm plus a host of other top names.

The action starts at 2.30pm following lunch and admission is 5 (*under 5s free). PCar parking is in a large field opposite the ground.
