Teams learn their fates in colts cup

Bedford Blues will begin their defence of their Investabroad Properties National Colts Cup with a trip to Ampthill in the first round.

The Blues won the competition for the third time in four seasons when they beat Somerset club Hornets in last May's final at Northampton Saints' Franklin's Gardens ground.

Bedford Athletic travel to Long Buckby, with the matches due to be played on or before September 19.
