Sapwell heads to Corby

Flitwick tennis player Josh Sapwell suffered defeat at the AEGON British Tour event in Bath at last month.

The 15-year-old had to win four matches to come through pre-qualifying and then qualifying, but went out to David Hodgetts in the last 32, losing 6-3, 6-2.

Sapwell is now competing in the Corby British Tour event on Sunday, before hoping to play in a similar competition at Sutton, and then heading out to the Czech Republic in March to train for the ITF Men’s Future tournament.
