The result sees Bedford sitting in third place after three rounds, following a 38-16 defeat to St Ives Roosters and crushing 76-0 victory over NH Crusaders.

Tigers now take a break from league action, as the East Cup takes centre stage, with Bedford visiting Cambridge Lions in the quarter-final this Saturday.

Meanwhile, the second team were triumphant, winning 40-32 at MK Wolves in their East RL Entry League meeting.

They recovered from an opening defeat to Hemel Stags and now top the table.
