Rugby: Bedford Modern School were handed a walkover victroy at Queensbury Upper School and Sharnbrook Upper School and Community College won 7-0 at Redborne Upper School in the second round (Midlands) of the Daily Mail RBS Schools U18 Cup competition. In the next round BMS will entertain Sharnbrook onWednesday.

The first round (Midlands) of the Vase saw Wootton Upper School gain a walkover victory against Samuel Whitbread Community College and in the next round they will travel to Biddenham Upper School.

The second round (Midlands) of the U15 Cup saw Bedford School romp to a 53-0 win at Wootton Upper School and Modern defeat Sharnbrook 50-0. In the next round Bedford School go to The Leys School and BMS to Northampton School For Boys.
