Rugby: Sharnbrook & Colworth defeated Leighton Buzzard IIs 26-12 in their East Midlands Courage Best League clash at the weekend.

Tries came from Adam Rooney (2), Gary Mitchell and Greg Frost, with Mitchell kicking three conversions and forward Rob Black named man of the match. The score of the match saw Denver Bennett dance through several tackles before finding Mitchell, who powered forward and then fed Frost to touch down.
