editorial image

Rugby: Kempston beat Northampton BBOB’s IIIs 62–7 in friendly on Saturday.

Kempston fielded a strong 22-man squad and, with a number of new and exciting players, ran in eight tries through captain Paul Foster, Paul Wallis (2), Josh Esson (2), Lewis Perrin, Jamie Stead and Cieran Murphy, while Perrin added the extra points with some fine kicking.

This Saturday Kempston entertain Cranfield University in the Waggledance League match.

Coaches Mick Norman, Tom Trinder and John Nichols are hoping to galvanise K’s squad in the new year.
