BLUES: Bedford Blues past and present were heavily involved as Hertfordshire beat Lancashire 38-20 to lift the Bill Beaumont Cup at the weekend.

Dual-registered Saracens and Blues youngster Ben Ransom, plus Stefan Liebenberg and Billy Johnson, started as did former Blue James Shanahan (Old Albanian), while ex-Bedford prop Marco Cecere (Old Albanian) was on the bench.
