RUGBY: Blues learn play-off fixture fate
Bristol and Cornish Pirates already confirmed
Bedford Blues have been handed some tough ties after the RFU announced they would be in Pool A in the inaugural Championship play-offs.
Mike Rayer's side have already learned that their definite opponents will be Bristol and Cornish Pirates with one from either Plymouth, Moseley, Doncaster or Rotherham depending on the final weekend results.
Blues need to finish in the top two from the four teams in Pool A to reach the money spinning semi-finals, with the winner of each pool gaining home advantage in a fixture against the runner-up from the opposite pool.
Mar 20: Plymouth/Moseley/Doncaster/Rotherham v Bedford Blues; Mar 27: Bedford Blues v Bristol; Apr 3: Cornish Pirates v Bedford Blues; Apr 10: Bedford Blues v Cornish Pirates; Apr 17: Bristol v Bedford Blues; May 1: Bedford Blues v Plymouth/Moseley/Doncaster/Rotherham.
