ATHLETICS: Bedford & County AC star Paula Radcliffe is set to warm up for this summer’s Olympics marathon by competing in the OMV half-marathon in Vienna on April 15.

The event was recommended to her by multi-world record holder Haile Gebrselassie and Radcliffe will take part in other events before the Olympic marathon on August 5 – but not another marathon.

Radcliffe has already spent a month training at high altitude in Kenya with the British squad and plans more in New Mexico.
