PARALYMPIC athletes were treated to a buffet lunch along one of Bedford’s finest landmarks, when the Bedford de Parys Rotary Club entertained them.

Competitors from The Ivory Coast, The Congo and Pakistan, who are all staying in Bedford, enjoyed a boat trip along the River Ouse on a specially-adapted boat.

Bedford Borough Council and St Johns Ambulance helped organise the trip.
