Mowsbury GC's Junior Club Championships
Golf round-up
Mowsbury Golf Club held their 2010 Junior Club Championships over two 18-hole rounds on Thursday and Sunday.
In some rather challenging playing conditions the prize winners were Philip Mead with the best nett in the first round of 70 on countback, and Ross Hamilton in the second round, also with a nett 70.
Best gross in the first round was won by Gavin Coates with a 77, and in the second round by Nick Cunningham with a level par round of 72.
The 36-hole nett winner was Omar Khan with 138, with Thomas Mead in second place with 140.
Junior club champion for 2010 with a gross 36-hole score of 158 was Jack Willis, winning by just one stroke from the title holder for the last two years James Brown.
