As the season picks up momentum, the club is hoping to continue its success and increase the number of swimmers qualifying at regional and national levels throughout the year.

Congratulations to George Hart for achieving his first regional time at the meet, smashing his previous best in the 400 individual medley by more than 20 seconds.

Regional qualification was also claimed by Charlotte Ashwin, James McFarland and Lauren Wilson, joining club swimmers Jack Ryan, Aaron Hird, Molly Bow, Georgina Curtis, Lauren Thomas, Zoe Griffiths, and Rhea Mason who have already qualified for regionals so far this season.

Head coach Tom McManus said: “I am delighted with the performances from all of our swimmers at this competitive and well-run meet in Windsor, which was our target meet for phase one of the season.

“The swimmers have shown growth and development in all areas of their swimming, and their hard work and commitment is showing.

“To achieve 76 personal bests and 56 medals so early in the season is exceptional and very promising for the remainder of the season.”
